National EIBA Team Competitions 2017 / 18 Season

We are still up and running in

Egham Trophy
Saturday 14th January
In the Quarter finals against Hartlepool at New Earswick (neutral venue) on Sunday 14th January we won by 89 shots to 75.
Sam Ashton, Jean Morris, Penny Strong & Tony Gilroy drew 20-20
Sheila Cliffe, Kath Draper, Dean Stevenson & George Draper won 22-15
Rene Walker, Lin Mountain, Richard Ashton 7 Billy Jackson won 24-11
Sheila Plaskitt, Jill Edson, Mike Smith & Kevin Rands lost 23-29
Great result and well done to all.
Thanks to the travelling members who supported the team to create a great atmosphere on the day.
Next up the semi finals against Norfolk on Sunday 4th March at St Neots Indoor bowls Club starting at 10.00 am
A free bus is available for this game leaving the indoor at 8.00 am names on list side of rink 1 if interested

Mason Trophy Lincoln A
In the 3rd round against Boston on Friday 19th January the ladies won by 31 shots to 23.
Well done to them.
Next up in the 4th round it is North Cave A on Friday 16th February

Mason Trophy Lincoln B
In the 3rd round against Horncastle on Friday 19th January the ladies won by 35 shots to 31 in a close game picking up a 4 away from home on the last end to win.
Well done to all in this one.
Next up in the 4th round it is Erewash on Friday 16th February
