Withdrawn Teams from Danny Brown
|
Please note that the following teams have had to withdraw from the leagues due to the inability to raise a squad.
MORNING LEAGUE DIV 2 - M27 BUNNIES
EVENING LEAGUE DIV 4 - E42 GREYS
SUNDAY MORNING DIV 2 - S13 POACHERS
If you play in the above leagues/divisions, please delete all fixtures against the teams above. All captains have been telephoned and notified to avoid teams turning up for nothing.
It is disappointing to have to report the demise of teams at any time, particularly at this stage of the sseason. As a result of losing these teams the club will be £2088 short of budgeted income this winter.
To attempt to avoid another rise in fees, there is an even greater need to raise revenue from other sources such as the Lincoln Lottery (please have a look at the link in the left hand menu)
To sustain our club against a backdrop of elderly people growing older, there is also a key role to be played by 'Link Up' - our planned new initiative to better integrate new joiners including the need to bring players through from beginner coaching sessions to League and competitive bowling.
