Our Club from Howard Jarrold

We are now well into the winter bowling season and group coaching on Wed and Sun at 4.30 pm sees many new faces. A warm welcome to you all. We are very proud of our club and all that it offers. There are not many clubs in the country that can boast a membership of some 1250, playing in a purpose built 8 rink facility that is open from 8am to 10.30 pm 7 days a week lit by ultra modern panels, is fully air conditioned , houses an eighty seater restaurant, a fully stocked bar , hosts world class televised matches every week and where you can park in our own private 100 spaces car park.
All this is managed by a team of people who are the best of the best ably led by Danny Brown and a guideing committee who have the best interest of the club at heart.
If you think I am prone to hyperbole and am guilding the lilly then do come along and see for yourself. Better still bring a friend and try out this highly addictive game for free. You will receive the services of a qualified coach and bowls and shoes are provided. There is no obligation to join the club , but if you do then take advantage of our offer of free membership until the end of the year ( £38 per annum thereafter). Playing charge is £3.00 for two hours. Other costs are a set of bowls which range from £50 --£250 , a pair of shoes ( typically £25/30 ) and a mug of filtered coffee which is an exorbitant £ 1.00 !
Having joined you can do as little or as much as you want. It is probably the best club in Lincoln to meet new friends, and if you want competition then we can offer the chance to see most of the top ten in the world, all of whom are regular visitors. In addition you can play in competitions that can take you to those dizzy heights.
