Post Christmas Club Competitions               from Danny Brown

Our experiment of Free to enter competitions with a plate competition for first round losers was well received. It resulted in a number of new competitors and entry numbers are up. The down side however, has been the number of conceded matches! This has been a huge disappointment and the club has lost quite a sum in rink fees as a result of these.

This is an experiment and it appears that the scheduling of some triples and fours matches at 8.30pm was not well received and had much to do with some of these concessions. Lesson learned.

The after Christmas competition entry forms will go out on 22nd November 2018. They will all be free to enter and the plate competitions will continue. There's also an Under 18s Singles for the youngsters.

There will be no 8.30pm scheduling this time around but the club will charge conceding players for walk overs and this will be strictly enforced,

Look out for the green forms and entries are to be received by 30th December 2018.
