POTTERS TRIP 2019 from Danny Brown

A whole host of our members enjoyed another successful trip to Potters this week. My thanks to Andy Herring who provides this short report and congratulations to all involved! Danny
Potters 2019
Organised by Sue Johnston this year we had a very successful trip this week to the home of the world championships in Hopton on Sea.
5 teams from Lincoln made it through to the quarter finals stage, 3 to the semi-finals and an all Lincoln final this year.
A high quality final and a low scoring one, 4-4 after 7 ends. The last bowl was a firing shot by John Bomber Harris to take out the opposition's shot bowl, a measure ensued and by a fraction, the winners were:
