Lincoln v Spalding
At 5 ends Lincoln 2 shots down overall a close game as we thought.
At 10 ends 3 rinks even but Billy’s rink scoring 10 shots without reply giving Lincoln a 16 shot lead overall.
The next 5 ends saw Billy’s rink score a further 12 shots without reply, with Tony and Kev’s rink sharing shots just needed Jonathan to keep the ship steady 32 shots the difference at 15 ends.
Spalding not giving up without a fight saw the shot difference reduced to 13 at 18 ends.
The last 3 ends Billy’s rink back to business scoring 7 shots without reply, Tony & Kev keeping honours even and Jonathan keeping it tight panic over Lincoln through to the quarter finals
Well done Ladies and Gent’s a performance to be proud of.
Quarter Finals Sunday 12th January against South Shields.
