A little shuffling due to players on holidays for the captain to make before this team was finalised.
He couldn’t have asked for a better start 4 shot up after 5 ends 2 rinks up and 2 down any body’s game.
At 10 ends 9 shots up still 2 rinks up and 2 down.
14 shots up at 15 ends but looking more like it with 3 rinks up.
Extended to 17 shots at 18 ends all looking at the score board and playing the big board instead of own rinks a victory looked on the cards.
21 ends completed on 3 rinks players shook hands and Lincoln into the next round winning by 79 shots to 60.
A great all-round team performance played in a great team atmosphere
Well done to all.
3 Semi Finals in 3 years this time St Neots on Sunday 1st March looks like it’s of to be home and away so support will be welcome especially for the home tie.
