Game 9 Home to Sleaford
A much better result today winning by 16 Points to 2 at home v Sleaford.

Roy Horne, Geoff Maslin, Jim Collett & David Hipworth Won 34 - 12
David’s rink picked up a 7 count on the first end and led by 8 shots at 5 ends. Pulling further away over the next 5 ends to lead by 11 shots at 10 ends. They doubled their score over the next 4 ends and despite dropping 1 shot on end 15 the lead was now 23 shots. Sleaford pulled back a little over the final ends to leave the final score 34 Shots to 15. 2 Points to Lincoln.
John Horton, Gerry Tyson, Nick Martin & Mick Thompson Won 29 – 11.
For 10 ends this was a close game with the lead changing nearly every end. Mick’s rink then won 9 ends on the trot to open up a 10-shot lead at 15 ends and 15 shots at 17 ends. The final 4 ends were shared leaving a final score 29 – 11. 2 Points to Lincoln.
Carl Stowe, Neil East, Alistair Weir, & John Withers. Won 23 - 14
The first 5 ends were even and John’s rink just led by 1 shot. Scoring 10 shots over the next 3 ends then dropping a 2 count on end 9 saw the lead increased to 8 shots. End 10 was tied and then Lincoln increased their lead at 15 ends to 14 shots. Despite only winning 2 of the last 6 ends the final score was 23 – 14. 2 Points to Lincoln
Gordon Dobson, Brian Jackman, David Jones & George Draper Won 21 – 15
At 5 ends Georges Rink led by 3 shots. Sleaford fought back over the next 5 ends and led by 2 shots at 10 ends. Going further in front at 14 ends saw their lead grow to 7. Lincoln won all the remaining ends with some excellent bowling from George sealing a final score of 21 – 15. 2 Points to Lincoln
Glynn Smallcombe, Patrick Mills, Keith Richardson & Steve Derby Lost 15 – 19
A strong start from Sleaford saw them leading by 6 shots at 5 ends, and by 9 shots at 10 ends. This lead was maintained over the next 5 ends. A good finish from Lincoln gave a final score of 15 – 19. 2 Points to Sleaford.
Next game is away at Stamford who are our main challenger this year.
