LIBC Essential Planned Maintenance Works from Danny Brown
|
At their virtual Board Meeting held this evening, the Board of Directors agreed that we should take advantage of the fact that the club is closed to go ahead with some essential maintenance work which was identified as being required before the lockdown began.
Essential electrical wiring and lighting work is required to ensure the safety of the premises and to validate our insurance cover and will go ahead with work planned to commence on 6th July 2020.
The large lime tree at the front of the premises is periodically checked as part of our insurance requirements and has become deseased. This was also identified as a risk should we experience high winds. Soil sampling has ensured there is no danger to the building if the tree is felled and this will go ahead in the next few weeks, well ahead of winter.
