Covis Steering Group Update - Monday 12th October 2020 from Danny Brown
|
The steering group will now meet via Zoom on a Monday night.
At this week's meeting it was acknowledged that there is a need to improve on social distancing at the point players alight the bowling green after playing their matches. Very often the entire rink is trying to share one bench and all of the great efforts people have made during the game to adhere to the 2m rule are sometimes undone in this brief period!
Given that the staggered Match starting times are working very well, it was agreed that the time is now right for reinstating member's locker access - PROVIDED THAT THE GUIDELINES ON THE FLIP CHART INSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR ARE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.
This will ensure that small groups of players disperse individually to different parts of the club once their game has finished, rather than be drawn to the changing benches. As part of the Guidelines referred to players are asked to ensure SINGLE PERSON ACCESS to locker areas and to be patient if there is a bowler already using the bank of lockers where their own locker is situated.
We thank you for your continued co-operation and assure you that peoples behaviours relating to the use of lockers will be strictly monitored.
