OVER 60's LINCOLN 'A' AWAY TO BOSTON from Gordon Wood
|
LINCOLN OVER 60's gained sweet revenge for the home defeat by Boston by 14 - 4 by recording a very well earned 15 - 3 at Boston.
Early on Boston looked like making life difficult again as they started strongly.
However as Lincoln took control, especially George Draper's rink and Mick Thompson's rink, Boston wilted somewhat as they realised this was a team determined to get they own back.
With defeat on only one rink, 1 draw and 3 wins LINCOLN ran out worthy winners by 15 - 3 to go top of the league at the expense of they hosts who dropped to second. Captain Terry is back in control of the ship. Well done Terry Walker.
