This is a summary of items that have been placed on our Facebook page over the last few days, courtesy of our Facebook contributors - --------------------------- 7 February at 23:01 · Well done to Lincoln Ladies today in the quarter finals of the Vivienne Trophy who won a close game against Falcon Indoor Bowls Club by 66 shots to 63 played at Bedford Indoor --------------------------- 3 February at 20:54 · Lincolnshire's Derbyshire Trophy team took on Huntingdonshire in their third game. Huntingdonshire's team included Nick Brett who was very unlucky not to walk away with two titles in the recent World Championships at Potters. Lincolnshire battled hard and ran out winners by 11 points to 3 against a side that, in their last game, beat Norfolk. Lincolnshire are now in a strong position. However changes will have to be made for the next game away to Northamptonshire on the 17th February as the date clashes with the EGHAM competition. --------------------------- 31 January at 23:34 · Lincoln Over 60's A team registered another win today against visitors Spalding.

Lincoln IBC are currently top of the league with 113 points and a plus shots of 412. In second place are Boston IBC with 82 points and a plus shots of 31. Lincoln are well placed to win the league for the twentieth year running. No mean feat in any sphere of sport.
